A waltz in swing time that sometimes doesn’t know if its in 3 or 4, featuring a non repetitive phrase oriented melody, seasoned with a bit of levity. The upright bass is essentially a hoax since Jimmy Haslip does not play acoustic bass. However, he does play the melody! This is the necessary odd duck of this project, and was written back in Ray’s college days.
