1. Warrior Joy

From the recording Beginning To See

"The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, he will be quiet in his love. He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy." (Zephaniah 3:17)

The title is taken from a turn of phrase by the great Anglican devotional writer and mystic Evelyn Underhill... the phrase describes the glad victory of God in our lives... and through Him, the conquering of self and all else that keeps us from the joy and peace of God.

Synopsis: smooth jazz melodic lines with hard driving solos and solid rhythmic underpinnings... a fusion cocktail of Jaco Pastorious meets Michael Brecker meets Ramsey Lewis meets Claus Ogerman.
